NGLT stands for National Gathering of Lovers of Teak. We are a group of people that adore teak trees and the quality teak outdoor furniture produced by teak trees. The NGLT began after five friends went to vacation in Java, Indonesia and noticed a lot of wooden furniture being sold in the street markets. We asked the merchants about the furniture, and they explained how they were made from teak trees, and how teak trees are grown on special government plantations. After visiting a plantation and hearing all the information we could about teak wood. We decided to get some teak furniture upon arriving back to America.
